1. How do I order Pictometry® imagery?

2. What is the lead time for procurement of Pictometry® images?
Answer | A library can be delivered within 14 days if already captured.

3. How do I integrate Pictometry® data with my GIS application?
Answer | Pictometry® extensions are developed for ESRI, Map Info and Cad Corp. Other plug-ins are currently in progress, so please contact your local BLOM office for an update to the availability.

4. Do I need a DTM to measure height from Pictometry® Imagery?
Answer | No, Pictometry® images contain all relevant information, height, location and distance can be measured using EFS / integration plug-ins.

5. What is a Pictometry® base map and do I need one?
Answer | Pictometry® base map is used in EFS for Navigational purposes, and is provided within the purchased library.

6. What is EFS and can I use Pictometry® data without it?
Answer | Pictometry® data is currently provided as an integrated library to be used with EFS. In order to view and measure from the images and to navigate and find a required location, EFS provides a base map and all the necessary tools. Individual Pictometry® images can be provided as jpegs for viewing purposes. EFS is delivered as part of your Pictometry® Product, but you can also use Pictometry® integrated into your GIS package or via our web viewer. (Please see section Integration with GIS Packages)

7. Can my own DTM and raster data be incorporated into a Pictometry® product?
Answer | Yes, a tailored Pictometry® product can be created, incorporating client DTM and/or raster data.
